did a bing search "model 41 trigger", there is a link to model 41 on gun talk
the detailed instructions are there & easy to do.
I thought there was a link buried in this forum as well

Step 1 Don't touch the gun

Step 2 Send to KC Crawford for a trigger Job

Step 3 Enjoy

I tried to tap that pin out but ended up deciding to not risk getting in too deep. There's tons of info and videos about working on Ruger MKs but not much on the 41. Finding a gunsmith that's familiar with the 41 in my area is shockingly difficult. To date I've found none. I decided to just get used to the slightly heavier trigger pull.....

If you click on the individual photos it becomes clear that they kinda sorta intended for that pin to be messed with.
I can appreciate that some are more adverse to taking a hammer & punch to there babies than others.
When in doubt call in the expert

The absolute coolest 22 pistol I've ever seen was a M41 Jerry Keefer did for another gentleman I shot with in VA.  Pretty incredible.  I didn't know it was a M41 for about 6 months.

Now Jerry's retired and enjoying life, which he deserves after 2 careers of public service and dealing with schmucks like us I guess.  He's a mechanical genius.  His lawnmower puts my car to shame.

Thank you very much...I am still in the shop every day working on all that experimental stuff I enjoy...Some new barrels in the works..One upper lug only 1911 & 52 barrels may be in the future...Shooting them every day... Never over look Douglas products... I have had some pleasing results with Douglas barrel blanks..Great people to deal with also..The quality and tolerances on this barrel is about the best I have ever seen..

If you and Dave say Douglas is a fine product I'm sure it is.

Let Joe know if he ever wants to sell that M41...let me know Wink

I don't work on 41's. Don't have the time. KC Crawford is my go to guy for the 41.
